The Saskatchewan Legislative Library invites applications for the permanent position of Collections Librarian.
Reporting to the Director of Support Services, the Collections Librarian supports the Legislative Librarys collection management function and is responsible for coordinating the Legislative Library Collections Committee and implementing collection management mandates, policies, goals, objectives and duties to provide stewardship and development of the Library's research and legislative collection.
Knowledge is attained by completion of a Master of Library Science (MLS) / Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) from an American Library Association (ALA) or equivalent accredited program, and by several years of experience with specialized library collections.
