The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
- Organize and plan renovation projects
- Coordinate materials required for renovations
- Provide direction to a crew of 2-3 workers
- Work with lumber yard to generate estimates
- Travel to outlying LLRIB communities if required
- Perform other work related duties as assigned
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Must be a Journeyperson Carpenter
- Must have a Valid Class 5 License and own truck
- Ability to meet deadlines as per work schedule
- Previous supervisory skills are an asset
- Experience with confined spaces and/or heights is considered an asset
- First Aid, CPR and/or WHIMIS are desirable but not required
- Must be self-directed, highly motivated and possess a strong work ethic
- Must be willing to take direction from a supervisor
- Must be willing to work independently on various job sites
Position: Permanent full time position starting as soon as possible.
Salary: In accordance with applicable salary grid.
