In Canada we are the countrys largest national trade distributor of plumbing, hydronic, HVAC/R and PVF products and solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates switchboard and receives all incoming calls; determines the nature of the calls; answers, questions and/or transfers calls to the appropriate individual or division;
Acts as the initial on premise contact with visitors;
Provides direction to visitors and/or notifies appropriate employees;
Provides clerical assistance and support to other departments within office;
Updates telephone and branch location listings;
Performs a wide variety of general clerical work and assists with data entry as required;
Records all telephone and photocopier system malfunctions and reports them to the appropriate contact;
Arranges for special deliveries, registered mail, and courier services when needed;
Maintains records on postage and courier charges and is responsible for verifying the courier charges billed to the organization;
Performs other clerical and administrative duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Post Secondary education plus a minimum of two (2) to three (3) years related experience,
preferably in an office environment or within the industrial distribution industry, or the equivalent combination of education and experience;
Experience working on a multi line switchboard;
Knowledge of general office procedures and general office equipment;
Ability to be tactful and diplomatic, with suppliers and customers;
Working knowledge of MS Office applications is required;
Consistently meeting deadlines within a fast paced work environment and works effectively within time constraints;
Extreme attention to detail and accuracy;
Demonstrated initiative with the ability to work in a collaborative team based environment;
Highly organized in prioritizing work and multi-tasking;
Fluency in both French and English would be an asset.
