Description

The Lac La Ronge Indian Bands Education, Training & Employment Department is now accepting applications for the following one year term position, with a possibility of extension based out of La Ronge:

DAYCARE MANAGER

The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:

    Plan, implement and supervise daycare activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of children in the program;
    Assist with the development and monitoring of the daycare budget;
    Ensure the LLRIB Personnel policy manual and the Parent Handbook policy is adhered to;

The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:

    Diploma in Early Childhood Education;
    Five (5) years experience as a Daycare Worker;
    Two (2) years supervisory experience;
    Strong working knowledge of child development theories and practices;
    Computer literacy, including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel and e-mail;
    Must be mature, responsible, and punctual;
    Capacity to demonstrate a caring attitude;
    Must be patient, caring, loving, compassionate, and enjoy working with children;
    Must possess First Aid, CPR and Food Handlers certification;
    Ability to maintain confidentiality
