The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all purchasing activities for the company. The C-store manager will direct purchasing activities, negotiating with external suppliers to obtain best price, ensuring that all agricultural products meet Fishermans Coves objectives for price, quality, and efficiency. Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree or diploma in agribusiness, business administration strongly preferred
3-5 years relevant experience in purchasing or marketing management preferred
Strong negotiation skills
Direct a variety of comprehensive administrative and technical reports
Work efficiently in general office environment
Ability to manage multiple projects
Responsibilities and Duties
Plans and directs farm products, office supplies, and repair materials purchasing activities
Negotiates with external suppliers contract for goods and services
Ensures all agricultural products meet objectives for price, quality, and efficiency and to
reduce cost on raw materials
Updates store terminal system, adds latest merchandise purchases into computer system.
Establishes delivery schedules and coordinate logistics to ensure the smooth transfer of produce.
Keeps the produce fresh and saves the product in the proper way
Creates reports on specific products and/ or services as asked to do
Performs other tasks as required
