Description

Brandt Equipment Solutions Ltd. is currently seeking a Quality Engineer for it's Regina, SK location.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analysis of Product Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering processes to identify improvement opportunities aimed to sustain good quality and product delivery
- Review of Manufacturing Process Flows to direct and flow down requirements into Inspection Test Plans
- Conduct Root Cause analysis, assist with Corrective & Preventive action plans on Non-Conformances
- Provide support to the Quality Management Systems Development, Supply Chain Management, Customer Satisfaction Analysis and improvement in general
- Quality Process benchmarking  Participation in Manufacturing/ Production Planning process for new product development, including selection and application of best metrological application, etc.
- Support all quality functions including but not limited to Machine Shop Metrology & Calibrations, Fabrication, Assembly and Paint requirements
- Other duties as assigned and congruent to the role.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

- Good peoples skills with an open mind to drive/assist stakeholders into seeking Quality for the long term
- Able to effectively communicate in both technical and user-friendly language at all levels e.g. technical, professional, Senior Management, etc.
- Ample knowledge of Metrological methods and Measuring and test equipment capabilities
- Familiarity with quality cost concepts and techniques including SPC, etc.
- Extensive knowledge of machining, fabrication and assembly and related manufacturing processes.
- Technical writing skills (i.e. QMS documentation, CA reports, operating and rework instructions)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an intermediate quality role preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Completion of General or Vocational College, technical training, Completion of University or equivalent with experience and certification.
