Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp Inc. is the world's first successful zero-effluent-discharge market pulp mill that is a state-of-the-art, chlorine-free bleached chemi-thermo mechanical pulp (BCTMP) facility with close to 200 employees and an annual production capacity of 400,000 ADMT. Meadow Lake is a non-unionized mill.

Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp Inc. is currently seeking to fill the following position:

SECOND CLASS POWER ENGINEER

Reporting to the Steam & Recovery Manager and conducting relief crew supervision, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operation of the Steam & Recovery plant while helping to optimize mill production, quality and operating costs.

An Inter-provincial Second Class Power Engineering Certificate, experience with high pressure boilers and auxiliary equipment, and previous supervisory experience are required. Knowledge of pulp mill water and effluent treatment is desirable. Candidates must be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
