Description

Reporting to the Health and Safety Coordinator, this position is responsible for the following duties:

Responsibilities include:  
Coordinate and manage data entry, scheduling, action tracking, reports, and communications to leaders regarding:
o Workplace inspections
o Task observations
o Near miss and incident investigations
o KPIs & statistics
o Safety huddles
OHSAS 18001
Using the data listed above, categorize according to criteria including but not limited to mechanism of injury, root causes, locations, etc. in order to analyze and prepare improvement strategies for the site and the specific departments or work tasks. Tools and methods used may include excel conditional formatting, sort and filter, pivot tables, and graphing. Results and strategies may be compiled into technical reports or presentations for leaders and departments.
Support the Emergency Response Team:
o Attendance and training tracking, incident scribe, etc.
o Response review and action tracking
o Purchasing, etc.
Perform day to day operational support for the Safety and Health Team:
o Schedules, flight requests, purchase requests, budgetary planning and tracking, data entry, document control,
orecords management
Work in SAP (and associated systems) in order to implement and maintain process safety and personal safety information in work orders and data management.
Coordinate, plan and schedule safety and health related training, fit testing, etc. (anything that isnt managed by the Training Group). This includes managing details on requirements, expiry dates, and communications with applicable leaders and teams.
Complete other support duties as requested
