Description

The Lac La Ronge Indian Band, Support Services is now accepting applications for the following full-time funding based position, based out of La Ronge:

SECURITY OFFICER

The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:

    Perform vehicle and foot patrols for signs of suspicious behaviour, theft, vandalism and forced entry.
    Monitor office complexes, facilities and homes to ensure safety of the general public;
    Work independently in a high-stress environment with minimal supervision;
    Provide written and verbal reports with attention to factual details;
    Other duties of a similar nature as may be assigned from time to time.

The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
    Security Guard training course or related
    Previous experience in the security industry will be an asset;
    Ability to work independently, deal with confrontation and handle stressful situations;
    First Aid/CPR is preferred;
    Must be able to pass RCMP Security Clearance;
    Valid drivers license;
    Able to communicate in the Cree language is an asset;
    Demonstrates consistency and integrity at all times;
    Displays a positive attitude, maintains enthusiasm;
    Punctual, honest and reliable.
