PARTNERS Family Services is accepting applications for the position of Family Support Services Coordinator.This is a one year maternity leave position to commence as soon as possible and end February 25, 2018.

Requirements:
- BSW, BISW preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
- Candidates with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, justice, or other human services OR Diploma in Child and Youth Care will be considered in combination with experience
- Experience working in human services field
-Valid First Aid/CPR
-Valid Class 5 SK Driver's Licence
- Clear driver's abstract
- Use of personal vehicle with $2 million dollars liability insurance

The Family Support Services Coordinator reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for the following:

-Assign and schedule Family Support Workers to files that match their skill set and availability
-Provide supervision for Family Support Workers by the implementation and supervision of case plans for families accessing Family Support Services
-Work with Ministry of Social Services Child Protection workers to ensure services being provided fall within the case plan of the worker and are reducing risk factors for children in the home
-Ensure that statistics as required by the Ministry of Social Services are compiled, entered and submitted to the Executive Director monthly and quarterly
-Provide supervision of Triple P Coordinator by engaging the Triple P Coordinator in dialogue regarding scheduling of groups, logistic, professional development, areas for expansion, etc
-Provide intake, crisis counselling, short term counselling, advocacy and referrals for drop in clients particularly in the areas of family issues, parenting concerns and access to resources
-Work with all team members to ensure that all PFS programs expectations are fully met
