Description

Honey Bee Manufacturing Ltd. is a family owned business located in Southwestern Saskatchewan. Presently we are looking to fill a Production Engineer position at our manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities
    To analyze and implement on-going process improvements to increase production efficiencies and product quality
    Assist with fixtures development and construction
    Assist with production launch of new programs and provide training to operators/supervisors
    Provide technical support on the design of new products / process / supplier
    Development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and manage updates

Qualifications
    Mechanical aptitude (farm background is definitely an asset)
    Computer literate, including design software (SolidWorks, Auto-Cad)
    Excellent oral and written communication skills
    Knowledge of Quality Management System (ISO9000) and/or Lean Manufacturing
    Strong organizational skills
    Humble attitude to learn and get along with multi-disciplinary team
    Practical knowledge of root cause problem solving methods to analyze issues affecting internal quality and productivity issues
    Understanding of manufacturing structure (work orders, routings, process flow)
    Ability to work independently, initiate projects and set priorities (time manager)
    Family oriented and able to live in a small community

Education and Experience
    Engineering degree or combination of experience/training
