The Department of Political Studies at the University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a two year, limited term appointment to teach in the area of Canadian Politics, starting July 1, 2017. The appointment will be at the rank of Lecturer (floor salary of $77,613). Candidates must have a completed doctoral degree in Political Science and a record of demonstrated excellence in teaching, with ability to teach in the area of Canadian governance and institutions. The ideal candidate will also be able to teach in some or all of the following areas: Canadian northern provincial and territorial governance, circumpolar governance, indigenous governance, public policy and/or public administration.
We are seeking a collaborative-minded teacher-scholar who can contribute to the departments broad thematic area of Governance in a Global Era. The Lecturers assignment of duties will include the teaching of undergraduate and graduate courses, with a mix of campus and distance teaching.
