Facility: MENTAL HEALTH - SHR
Job Description: The Mental Health Therapist - Staff reports to the Crisis Team Manager. The incumbent will participate as an active member of a multidisciplinary team.
The Mental Health Therapist - Staff within the Mental Health and Addiction Services (MH&AS) Team participates in and supports the provision of services for psychiatric rehabilitation clients, with the primary objective to mai9ntain and improve the therapeutic environment and case management of client referred to the Rehabilitation Day Program.
This is done through collaboration with he client and/or family, the Mental Health and Addiction Services Interdisciplinary Team and other services providers within SHR and communities. This will be done in accordance with Sunrise Health Region mission statement.
Required Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing, social work, occupational therapy or other related training
Must hold current registration with the respective association within Saskatchewan
Experience
Applicants with recent experience in mental health setting and experience in group clinical service development and delivery are required.
Demonstrated skills  in case management/crisis management and group facilitation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Basic computer skills
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Ability to follow safe work practices
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to perform case management skills covering an assigned caseload, plan implement, and evaluate individual therapeutic programs for clients
Demonstrated leadership, communication, decision making, documentation and organizational skills
Ability to facilitate educational and skill devel
