Sun West School Division invites applications for a Maintenance Coordinator based out of the Elrose Maintenance Shop, Elrose, SK. This is a permanent position, 40 hours per week, starting as soon as possible.

The successful applicant will be responsible for general maintenance and repair to school division facilities and property in various areas of the school division.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 1 year of post-secondary education in one or more areas of Instrumentation, Plumbing, Electrical or Construction, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Preference will be given to applicants with a Certificate, Diploma or Journeyperson in one of the listed trades or similar certification. A Class Five Building Operator ticket would also be an asset. The successful applicant must have the ability to work independently, possess excellent communication, time management and organizational skills, have the demonstrated aptitude to problem solve and have the ability to work cooperatively with school-based staff, office personnel and contractors.

Salary and benefits for this position will be in accordance with the current Collective Agreement of CUPE Local 4802.

Salary Range: $26.15 to $30.15 per hour
