Summary:
Responsible under the direction of the Youth Services Coordinator, for the development and presentation of Young Adult programs at Frances Morrison Library; for providing support for the development of young adult materials collections; provides readers advisory and reference service.
Duties:
    Develops and coordinates young adult programs at Frances Morrison Library and prepares Program Guide submissions.
    May work with the Teen Advisory Council.
    Initiates & participates in outreach opportunities such as school visits, community events, trade shows and school staff meetings, etc.
    Liaises with schools and with other youth-serving community and government agencies.
    Coordinates system Young Adult programs.
    Responsible for maintenance of the collection.
    Provides readers advisory service and reference service to patrons.
    Instructs and advises users and staff in the effective use of library resources, including electronic resources and applications, with a particular focus on those resources related to young adults.
    Responsible for promoting library services for teens (including the preparation of resource lists, displays, etc.), in consultation with the Youth Services Coordinator.
    Participates in system committees as required.
    Provides adult fiction readers advisory services as required.
    Performs other duties as required.
