Element Technical Services is looking for a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic to perform repairs and maintenance on a fleet of fracturing equipment. The Heavy Duty Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment in a timely, effective and cost efficient manner.
The Heavy Duty Mechanic will:
Perform preventative maintenance on frac equipment.
Ensure maintenance inspections are completed within designated timelines and documented as per industry standards.
Diagnose and troubleshoot repairs.
Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Record and track equipment deficiencies.
Perform remote field repairs as required.
Participate in safety meetings and provide feedback on equipment modifications and specifications.
Requirements:
Previous diagnostic and troubleshooting experience; knowledge of Cummins ISX and the Can-Bus system is preferred.
Knowledge of coil tubing, fracturing and truck and trailer equipment is considered an asset for this position.
Strong computer and communication skills are required for this position.
Self-motivated and have the initiative to fully perform the duties of this position independently.
Journeyman Heavy Duty Certification required.
Certified to complete CVIP/DOT inspections required.
This job is based out of Element's state of the art shop in Carlyle, Saskatchewan and is a Monday-Friday position. Relocation expenses may be provided.
