David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit for a Commercial/Industrial Security System Installation Technician in Regina.

We are looking for an experienced Installation Technician to perform installation and service functions on intrusion alarm systems, access control and camera systems.  The successful candidate will be required to travel from their home-based office to client locations across Saskatchewan to complete installations.

The Role:

Communicate with customers to identify the source of the problem of their alarm system. Independently perform service & maintenance and make recommendations.  
Run cable and wire, install peripheral devices wires and security systems
Assists salesperson in determining most effective design and layout of  client systems
Communicate with customers to determine their needs and requirements  
Program systems for operation according to the specifications of the particular needs and premises
Train and instruct customers on proper operation and maintenance of security system
Commission and test security systems and work closely with the Alarm Control Centre to ensure proper installation and functioning
Be responsible for  maintenance and operation of company vehicle  
Complete paperwork and required documentation
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, self-directed multi-tasking environment
