Position Summary
The Home Care Nurse position will be full time and based out of Spiritwood & working in 1st Nations Communities of Big River, Pelican Lake & Witchekan Lake. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision & deal with clients, plus adapt to required changes.  Responsibilities will include client assessments, re-assessments, focus on client centered care plans, client monitoring and referrals, client supervision, client education and delivering wellness/foot care clinics to the communities.  The nurse will be part of the ACTC Homecare Team & report to the Home And Community Care Nursing Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be in good standing with the SRNA
Previous Home Care experience or Home Based Nursing Training
Valid Drivers License
Must submit a recent CPIC (Criminal Record Check)
Foot Care and Diabetes Educator Training an asset
Ability to speak Cree would be an asset, but not mandatory
List 3 current professional supervisory references.
