Lac La Ronge Indian Band Public Works/Housing Department is now inviting applications for the following position:
RENTAL OFFICER
The suitable candidate will be able to perform the following duties:
- Collection of rents from Band Housing Rental Units
- Maintain housing inventory
- Fill out lease forms, and inform tenants on housing policy and guidelines
- Process monthly recurring rent charges in AccPac
- Issue 1st notice to tenants on arrears of accounts
- Report monthly updates on Housing applicants, housing registry and tenants files to supervisor
- Maintain financial filing system and records
- Other duties as assigned
The suitable candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Office Education certificate
- A combination of education and experience will be considered
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and computerized accounting systems
- Minimum Grade 12
- Strong work ethic, excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well with others and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to travel to LLRIB outlying communities when required
Position: This is a permanent full time position starting as soon as possible.
Salary: In accordance with applicable salary grid
Benefits: Permanent LLRIB employees are entitled to a complete benefits (pension and insurance) package, northern living allowance, housing allowance where applicable.
