Cowessess First Nation Cowessess Community Educational Centre is now accepting Resumes for the following: (Contract position 2016/17 academic year)

Resource/Special Education Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:  The Successful Applicants must possess the following:
*    Possess a valid Saskatchewan Teacher's Certification with extensive experience working as a resource teacher and AANDC Special Education guidelines.
*    A variety of successful experiences with beginning and middle years teaching.
*    Possess the ability to work in and respond to a demanding fast paced school environment and experience developing student IEP's and working with children with multiple disabilities.
*    Possess a strong desire and ability to foster parental and community involvement.
*    Strong traits to lead and work professionally with Teachers and Students to promote and deliver progressive, innovated and inclusive schooling;
*    Must possess strong traits in classroom management;
*    Submit CRC (Criminal Record Check - Vulnerable Sector for working with children)
*    Must have Valid Driver's License and a reliable vehicle.
*    Volunteer Drug test must be submitted.

Salary and Benefits are based upon Cowessess First Nation's Teacher Salary Grid.
