Summary:

As a member of the Front Office Team, the Assistant Manager Guest Services is responsible for the daily operation of the Front Office. You will provide direct support to your Manager; this will include providing ongoing leadership, guidance & direction to all front office associates.
Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities: (Abbreviated)
Evaluate guest satisfaction levels, monitor trends via SALT & other external reputation management tools with a focus on continuous improvement
Assist with implementing strategies to achieve departmental goals & financial profitability
Perform administration duties including but not limited to- scheduling, payroll, tracking & ordering of operational & guest supplies
Assist with recruiting & on boarding of new associates
Training & coaching of Front Office associates
Identify & resolve guest concerns/complaints to their satisfaction
Prepare & conduct daily shift huddles, communicate effectively with all associates & provide them with an information necessary to provide guest service in accordance with established standards
All other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, & Skills: (Abbreviated)
1-2 years demonstrated Leadership/Supervisory experience, preferably in hospitality environment
Post-secondary education in Hotel Management or related programs an asset
Prior Hilton brand experience & On-Q certification an asset
Demonstrated basic understanding of current forms of technology & its application (i.e. mobile devices, Apps, search engines, etc.)
Must be legal age to serve alcohol (19)
Must hold valid drivers license with no restrictions
