The Key First Nation has an opening for a Comprehensive Community Plan Coordinator. This is a full time, TERM position. The CCP Coordinator's responsibilities will be to coordinate activities associated with the development of The Key First Nation Comprehensive Community Plan. This position will require a mature, hardworking, reliable and Independent person. This person will work closely with the Band Council, staff, community members and stakeholders to develop a Comprehensive Community Plan for the next 10 to 50 years. The Plan will encompass ALL areas of The Key First Nation.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of Grade 12 with additional training, education and/or 5 years of successful experience in management, research, project coordination or in a related field.
- Knowledge of The Key First Nation community and history.
- Experience and/or training in research and data compilation.
- Excellent understanding of computer programs and office equipment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Public Speaking experience.
- Ability to facilitate engagements sessions with the community and the members.
- Work unconventional hours as needed.
- Must be willing to travel and must possess a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle, must submit a current Criminal Record Check.
