Description

We have an immediate opening for an Engineering Summer Student at Littelfuse. The Engineering Summer Student assists with the development and testing of new or existing products. This position is also responsible for assisting in the stability testing of computer applications, and improvements to existing applications.

Job Responsibilities:
-Assist with the development or testing of hardware or firmware in embedded systems
-Test prototypes
-Test the stability of existing computer applications (Windows)
-Document test results
-Suggest improvements to applications
-Write new code within applications
-Test various protection relay functions or special cases and document test results

Position Requirements:
- Completion of second or third year in a Computer Engineering or equivalent program.
- Experience with embedded systems projects or Windows GUI development are assets. Additionally, some experience in the use of multimeters and other test equipment, and basic soldering skills are also beneficial.
- Must be capable to work in a fast paced environment and possess excellent communication skills.
- Be organized, with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Possess a positive, enthusiastic and determined attitude.
- Be responsible, reliable, presentable, and trustworthy.
- Be customer and results focused.
