The Motor Safety Association (MSA) is a non-government, non-profit organization funded by Industry.
Motor Safety Associations goal is to:
Continually strive for a reduction in work related injuries and the cost of treating those injuries.
Stimulate positive change(s) in health and safety management practices in our industry as a whole.
Our professional and personable staff take a leadership role in advising and assisting members in safety issues, preventing on the job injuries, and by demonstrating methods of returning injured workers to active members of the workforce as soon as practical.
We actively support and encourage our members in safety related initiatives and programs, as we help them evaluate, improve and maintain the highest possible standards of safety.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Safety Advisor promotes, educates, advises and assists MSA member employers and their workers in safety, injury prevention and return-to-work strategies.
Position Requirements:
Candidates may possess a diploma, degree or certificate in health and safety complemented with related work experience. Experience in adult education, marketing, social media or sales would be considered an asset.
Some positive assets for consideration: an innovative self-starter, excellent time-management, problem solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work with people of all levels. The successful candidate will need a valid drivers license, reliable vehicle and ability to travel throughout Saskatchewan on a regular basis.
