THE GREATER SASKATOON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE-CEO

OBJECTIVE and SCOPE:
Leading a member-based organization in the areas of Member Relations and Engagement, Advocacy and Government Relations, Internal Operations, Board Governance.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will lead the Chambers Strategic Plan, meet the needs of their members, and support the Chambers Board of Directors.  The CEO serves as the face of the Chamber, acting as a community leader and advocate for the Greater Saskatoon area in business. The CEO also collaborates closely with civic, provincial, federal government, and other business organizations with the goal of improving the business climate.
This is a great fit for someone who is a leader in the business community that enjoys building collaborative relationships, engaging the community, and advocating on key issues that will support business growth in our community. This person will be an innovator who is energetic and passionate about making Saskatoon thrive.

REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
    Post Secondary diploma or certificate with a focus in Business, Finance, Economic Development, or similar
    10 plus years in a Sr. leadership role along with member association or not for profit experience with national exposure.  Chamber experience is a definite asset
