CUPE Custodian (1.0FTE Temporary)
Leader Composite School
Competition #2022

A temporary full time (1.0FTE) custodian is required at Leader Composite School.

Start Date: As soon as possible until further notice

Desired Qualifications:
*    Ability to deal tactfully and cooperatively with public, students, staff
*    Proficient in the use of all hand tools and equipment
*    Good mechanical ability with strong capabilities in the area of troubleshooting
*    Good physical condition
*    Previous cleaning and floor care experience in a public Facility
*    Self-directed, able to complete assigned tasks without supervision

Duties (may include but are not limited to):
*    Daily cleaning when students are in attendance
*    Special cleaning during school breaks
*    Minor Repairs and Maintenance
*    Some yard work
*    Operating mechanical equipment such as snow blower, lawn mower, etc.
*    Shoveling snow, some heavy lifting, etc.
