Description

Maintains or increases profitability using a combination of sales strategies ice sales, board advertisement salesand cost control mechanisms updated lighting, energy efficiency programs. Staffing for a team of (4+) employees with an evolving operations schedule
Ice scheduling  working with numerous user groups to coordinate and schedule regular and one time rentals as well as parties, events and tournaments. Generate rental invoices and board sale agreements and invoices and ensure proper receipt of payments. Work with FDFN Finance Division to ensure monthly reconciliation of payments.
Performs staff duties as needed, including collecting admission fees, ice rental payments, and general ice-shop sales.  Coordinate crowd control during on-ice activities of large events.
Work with numerous vendors to ensure facility has supplies / equipment needed to run efficiently and effectively    
Ensure facility meets all local, provincial, and federal safety and fire codes standards at all times.  Ensure operations equipment are in good working order at all times ie:  elevator, Zamboni, ice plant.  Monitor building security, maintenance and custodial duties throughout the facility
develop and maintains strong relationships with facility user groups
Create welcoming atmosphere through staff training on high level of customer service and care of physical environment
Enforces policies and rules to ensure the safety of all guests; intervening in situations related to public safety as necessary
and ensures staff is fully trained
