Description

Northern Quinoa Production Corporation is a specialty grain processing company with head office out of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.  Since 1992 the company has been in the business of contracting, marketing, cleaning and value adding to grain and food products for worldwide distribution.  
We are currently looking for a motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team.   The ideal candidate would lead a healthy lifestyle and have some background knowledge about Quinoa and good nutrition.
Responsibilities:
- Answering/directing calls, responding to email inquiries and greeting guests in a courteous manner.
- Responsible for stocking and keeping front store clean and organized.
- Maintaining an organized Filing System.
- Ordering office and warehouse supplies, bill payments and assisting the Accountant as required.
- Completion of various documentation in a professional and timely manner.
- Utilizing various online shipping tools and arranging couriers as required.
- Data entry.
- Providing support to the Sales Team, Agronomy Team, others as required.
- Working along side the CSR/Logistics Coordinator to ensure overall customer satisfaction.

- Is able to work independently and in a team setting.
- Has an eye for detail and meets deadlines as directed by management.
- Has past work experience where decision making and problem solving skills were essential.
- Has a strong work ethic, adaptable and flexible in order to manage a variety of different tasks.
- Is a self starter; e.g. Someone who can problem solve independently to find an answer to a customer's question.
- Is proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and has experience working with QuickBooks.
- Has excellent customer service skills.
- Has the ability to communicate effectively; both in writing and in person.
