Activities & abilities specific to Saskatoon Health Region:   an equivalent post-secondary education would be considered. The community outreach & education worker is an integral member of the interdisciplinary community diabetes aim 4 health program and will work collaboratively with this team to support and deliver culturally sensitive information, education and self-management support programs to a diverse population for prevention and treatment of diabetes.   Willingness to provide outreach services in a variety of settings within the community and in client homes is required. This program will provide services with a focus on First Nations & Metis peoples as well as other cultural groups which are high risk for diabetes (i.e. Asian, South Asian or African).  Ability to speak or understand a language of a population with high risk diabetes is required.   Knowledge and understanding of customs, family s
