Meridian Manufacturing Inc. (MMI) in Regina manufactures top of the line grain augers, bins, conveyors, and movers which are sold coast to coast and around the world.
Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for providing support to customers and dealers by processing orders from time of receipt to final delivery.
Core Responsibilities:
Plan loads and prepare paperwork for deliveries of all disassembled product from Regina location
Schedule Shop Truck and driver
Prepare paperwork and arrange container pick-up for international deliveries including customs and fumigation
Arrange Auger set-ups and deliveries in Alberta including work orders and shipping papers
Maintain minimum stock levels for Augers at all set-up locations
Work with CSRs regarding sales orders
Contact customers regarding picking up product from Set-up yards
Education and Knowledge Required:
High school diploma or recognized equivalent
Knowledge of production manufacturing process and work flow. Meridian product knowledge is an asset
Knowledge of internal accounting processes and requirements for invoicing and freight accrual purposes
Working knowledge of inventory management program is required
Knowledge of production manufacturing workflow, plant layout, and processes for production scheduling and work order release
Experience and Technical Skills Required:
Minimum 3 years of logistical support strongly preferred.
Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience is an asset. Experience in a similar industry will be considered.
