Yorkton Plumbing and Heating is currently looking for an Accounting Clerk
Role Responsibilities Include:
- Accounting functions including Billing, A/R, A/P, Payroll, GL and, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting
- Assist the Controller in the preparation of daily, monthly and yearly reports
- Assist the Administrative staff with advice and training on accounting procedures
- Assist the Controller in the development of accounting policies and procedures
- Bank Reconciliations
- Bank Deposits
- Ability to Manage the Accounting Department when the Controller is absent
The successful candidate must have:
- University degree or college diploma in accounting, commerce, or business management/administration plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficiency in spreadsheets, keyboarding, and office equipment
- Proficient with Quickbooks Accounting System would be an asset
- High attention to detail combined with strong analytical skills.
