Job Description
To support the business sector in its efforts to achieve export growth.
To develop contact with buyers and procurement personnel and strengthen the relationship with them in order to encourage and support their commitment to export growth.
To identify source of goods and business partners for export.
To advise on appropriate market entry strategies for specific markets and establish distribution in a specific market.
To provide a quality trade and marketing advisory service.
To monitor the performance of exports, and provide senior management with an early warning if there is an adverse shift in the host country's economic climate.
To prepare briefing material for senior management on market related issues.
To develop a relationship with professional market advisors.
To manage trade fairs and other group promotional activities.
To undertake market research assignments.
To set up business missions.
To manage a trade office, including budgets and staff.
To engage in representational activities.

Any other work as maybe required by the supervisor to fulfill the above responsibilities
Required Qualifications and Experience:
5-10+ Years in the supply side commodity industry
University Bachelors Degree in Business or Equivalent
Background in inventory control or material planning strongly is preferred.
Experience with general Customs matters including harmonized tariff schedule (HTS) classification, valuation, country of origin, Customs compliance, and entry/export procedures is preferred.
Experience with agriculture/minerals products export is preferred, such as wheat, canola oil and potash.
Experience with enterprise resource planning ( ERPs, i.e. SAP) is preferred
Microsoft Office products
Skilled in:
Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously
Ability to simplify tasks and improve processes
