Arena maintenance, ice making, janitorial duties, opening and closing of facilities, minor repairs, ball diamond maintenance, cutting grass, soccerfield maintenance, Parks and swimming pool. This position will be in Arena September to April and outside maintenace of parks and recreation fields from May to August. A valid drivers license is required along with a drivers abstract. Please provide when applying. A criminal record check will be required as a condition of employment
Education:
Arena Operators 1, Pool operators certification (training is possible)
Experience in equipment operation and reapir, zamboni operation, and riding mower

Specific Maintenance Activities
- Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
- Perform routine maintenance jobs and repairs
- Empty waste containers
- Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax floors
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on heating, cooling and ventilation systems
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on plumbing systems
- Paint
