Who We Are

The Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum (Friends) is a non-profit organization whose Mission is to promote the knowledge and understanding of Saskatchewan's natural and human history through active support of the Museum, and by encouraging public involvement and financial support of the Museum and its scientific activities.

We are looking for someone to join our fun, close-knit work environment in the role of Client Services. As the first point of contact with our clients, you will be responsible, professional, organized, and interested in making a difference.

The main roles of Client Services are to fulfill administrative duties and manage Facility Rental bookings.

This is a 60% full-time permanent position (25-30 hrs/wk) with negotiable hours, and may require occasional evening and weekend shifts. The successful candidate must submit a satisfactory criminal record check prior to employment.

Administrative Responsibilities:
    Order & purchase office supplies and maintain the Friends office space
    Manage all administrative responsibilities including invoicing, tax receipts, payments, and maintaining accurate financial records
    Manage membership program & all member correspondence
    Handle all phone inquiries for programs, process program registrations, and maintain registration database
    Provide general admin support to the FRSM management staff as required
    Provide occasional after-hours support for special events

Facility Rental Responsibilities:

    Coordinate rental of the Auditorium, Boardroom, Galleries, and Lobby
    Provide excellent customer service to all rental clients
    Schedule & manage facility rental event staff (Event Attendants, Bartenders, AV Techs)
    Manage Facility Rental Catering program
