Job Description: The CNE is accountable for providing clinical education, consultation and participation in policy development at the regional level in Prairie North Health Region.  The CNE will collaborate with Directors, Managers, and Point of Care staff in the assessment of learning needs, delivery of a regional nursing orientation and providing specific education/inservices.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing or Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Interpersonal skills
Communication skills
Leadership skills
Ability to adapt to changing conditions
Ability to competently use computers and software applications as required by the position

Required Qualifications Continued:
Recent 3-5 years demonstrated experience working with clients requiring severe psychiatric and persistent medically complicated care.

This is a regional position with travel required and currently based out of North Battleford.
This is a designated field hours position.
Geographic Location: North Battleford
Expected Start Date: January 30, 2017
FTE: 1.00

Hours of Work: In a 6 week rotation: 28 shifts of 8.00 hours
