Description

The position of Roofer is a skilled role, in which they work with a team to provide the overall on-site management for a project, while ensuring the constructive efforts are in accordance with the plans and specifications.
Responsibilities include:
?-Evaluate and implement most effective installation strategies.
?-Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations.?
-Supervise and assist with the installation of commercial and industrial Roofing applications: single ply, cedar, SBS and metal roofing systems.
?-Ensure all on-site personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work and equipment maintenance rules as per company safety and HR manual.
?-Communicate all aspects of job status (i.e. extras, schedule delays, etc with management and use IT specific software).

Qualifications Require One or more combination of the following:?
-Minimum 3 years experience as a Roofer in commercial/industrial construction?- Out-of-province apprenticeship training?
-Journeyman Roofer Certification or equivalency?
-Previous experience in Foreman role with extensive references
-Completed some secondary schooling

Wage? $21-$25, Room to advance higher depending on qualifications/experience in relation to Advantage Roofing Ltd payroll grid
