General Information
The Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work (CCRW) is a National organization promoting and supporting the meaningful and equitable employment of people with disabilities. We accomplish this by working one-on-one and in a group setting with people with disabilities to support their employment search; and with employers to educate and support them in the hiring of people with disabilities.
Clients will be persons with disabilities motivated to secure, or maintain meaningful employment. The Partners program will offer services to ensure all clients are appropriately supported in their transition into the workforce.
Scope and Purpose:
The Employment Outreach Specialist is responsible for working in a team setting with the Employment Coordinator, clients, and employers, focusing on prospecting and securing job placements and employment opportunities. Employment Outreach Specialist is able to prospect employment opportunities for a diverse client base. The Employment Outreach Specialist is responsible for engaging with Employers in the maintenance and development of Business Advisory Committee meetings, securing employment opportunities and the delivery of employer focused events such as the Business Awards Luncheon (BAL).
