We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Vocational/Educational Program Manager for the Learning Centre education program. The Learning Centre is a special education program designed to meet the needs of young adults who have moderate to severe developmental disabilities with sensory needs. Programming involves ongoing social and life skills development and simple vocational training that is developed based on the service recipients individual needs.

The program manager provides leadership and resource management to the Learning Centre.  They are responsible for creating a safe, positive, and therapeutic work environment. The manager plays a key role in developing a vision and direction for the program and creating a climate of learning and personal development that benefits both service recipients and staff. The manager is responsible for integrating the vocation program with other Ranch and community programs. This role is also responsible for the development and management of the Learning Centre staff.

Education
-A degree in education is preferred, however a degree in a related area (i.e. psychology, social work) from a recognized post-secondary institution would be considered.

Experience
-Minimum of five years experience, with a minimum of two years supervisory experience, in child, youth or adult services, and preferably a minimum of one year Ranch Ehrlo experience.  
-Staff must hold a class 5 novice 2 or higher drivers license and be eligible for coverage under our commercial auto insurance policy.

Salary range for this position is $62,665 to $82,463.
