Manager of Finance
The Prince Albert Co-operative Health Centre is a non-profit, publicly funded primary health care organization which employees 100+ employees.
The Health Centre is seeking a Permanent Full Time Manager of Finance. The Manager of Finance is a member of the leadership team and reports directly to the Executive Director. Responsibilities include the overall management of financial and payroll services including supervision and leadership of finance staff, budget preparation, monthly financial statements and financial reporting to the Ministry of Health.
Experience, knowledge and skills will include:
- Public Sector and Charitable Accounting Standards.
- Budgeting, financial systems and procedures, financial research and analysis techniques.
- Business process analysis and system design and implementation.
- Benefit and Collective Agreement administration.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, including the preparation and presentation of financial and technical reports.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Education - Professional Canadian accounting designation; i.e. CMA, CGA, CA or CPA.
Salary- Salary and benefits as per terms and conditions of employment. SAHO out of scope pay band.
Experience - Four to six years experience in financial management, analysis and reporting.
