Responsibilities:
- Encourage and develop a culture of continuous improvement related to quality assurance and environmental management.
- Ensure compliance with all acts, regulations and codes of practice and complete all reporting requirements to both Federal and Provincial agencies.
- Liaise with all in house departments on quality and environmental concerns.
- Ensure all finished goods meet customer and regulatory standards.

Education and Experience:
- Completion of a Bachelors Degree in a related science.
- At least 5 years experience in a related industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge in Environmental Codes, Regulations and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge in Fermentation and alcohol production.
- Computer skills including word processing and working with spreadsheets.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people with varying levels of education, expertise, and backgrounds.
- Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team.
