Description

Visionpool Business Services is hiring a SOLUTION ARCHITECT to provide Information Technology solutions to business problems. Solutions include systems, applications, infrastructure or processes, and involve the enterprise and integration of a wide variety of products, services and technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 4 years solutions architecture and/or design related experience
Minimum 7 years experience as an Information Technology Architect at a senior level
TOGAF certified at version 8, 8.1. or higher
Performed IT Architect role on at least four successful engagements as follows: served as the lead architect, all were performed using a formal IT methodology, and the solution, or portion of, was implemented successfully
Demonstrated experience with multiple architecture methodologies and an ability to compare them
Demonstrated knowledge of a wide variety of technologies and how they are implemented, specifically Microsoft, Oracle, Curam if applicable
Formal training in a recognized design methodology and have experience implementing that methodology on a design engagement
Demonstrated experience with at least one major methodology
Demonstrated experience with multiple projects in architecting solutions
Demonstrated experience applying current knowledge of key trends in one or more implemented solutions
Performed an IT Architect role through the full lifecycle of a solution the candidate created, including planning, design, implementation and roll-out, of at least one project or engagement
Demonstrated experience with the Curam architecture and implementation
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional business experience in a technical field considered an asset
Completion one formal course in project management considered an asset
Completion of Master Certified IT Architect designation from The Open Group considered an asset
