Description

This person will be accountable for day to day business issues, finances, fundraising.

Administration:
-Filing and record systems are maintained and up to date
-Protection and security of files and records

Finance:
-Assesses and confirms financial figures
-Responsible for the supervision of general accounting, accounts receivable, collection and payroll
-Managing budgets
-Interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends and analyze change and advise accordingly
-Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
-Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
-Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines
-Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation

Sponsorship:
-Identify sponsorship opportunities
-Participate in the pursuance of new sponsors, generation of sponsorship packages, meetings and generation of sponsorship contracts
-Develop relationships with current sponsors, identifying further needs and opportunities
-Coordinate activation with sponsors during the Festival

Board Responsibilities:
-Prepare all required reporting: annual budgets, monthly financial reports, and any other board requested information

Festival Management:
-All financial responsibility including floats and daily sales reports, entries, artist payments and deposits
-Working with the merchandising departments
-Any other daily duties will apply

Education and Experience
-Minimum certificate in an appropriate field, e.g. accounting, finance, business administration or economics.
-3-5 years experience in the not-for-profit business, or 3-5 years in a Sr. role in the financial industry or sponsorship role
-Related industry experience is an asset
-Excellent understand of finance and operational management
-Proven record for performance with successfully achieving goals
-Proficient computer experience
