Job Description: Camp Monahan is looking for Junior Camp Counselors to help run and supervise children, ages 6-13, during the camping programs. The position is perfect for youths who are interested in working with children, nature and love camp life. You will gain experience to become leaders in our organization. This is a bit of a 'do everything' position and great skills builder.  Junior counselors will assist the program staff in organizing and running the swimming, canoeing, arts and craft, outdoor education, archery, and discovery programs. Junior counselors are expected to participate in all camp activities including campfire, Chapel, meals, group activities and staff meetings. Applicants must be 16/yrs or 15/yrs if you have completed the Counselor-In-Training Program and who work well with others and share a love for children and camping. Skills/Assets:
- Practicing Catholic and/or comfortable with Christian teachings and practices
- Babysitting Certificate Course required
- First Aid/CPR C an asset
- Willingness to volunteer in pre-camp preparations, camp shutdown, fundraising, promotion activities
