Working out of the Angelique Canada Health Centre in Pelican Narrows and reporting directly to the Health Director, the Holistic Health Coordinator is an integral part of the community-based prevention, assessment, intervention, and after-care team. By working with other service providers within the community, the successful candidate is responsible for assessing the psychological, social and emotional needs of the community, developing programs, providing therapeutic services and training community staff.
The Holist Health Coordinator will work closely with the Elders & Holistic Health team & be an integral part of the community, multi disciplinary health services team and be responsible for providing the following services within a team approach and utilizing evidence informed and best practices in the areas of: Crisis prevention, intervention and aftercare; Individual, family and community assessments, interventions and therapeutic supports (addictions, grief & loss, anxiety and depression and other mental health and behavioural conditions/disorders); Case management; Policy, procedures, protocols and program development
