Description

Impact Energy Services, based out of Rosetown, Sask, is currently recruiting for the position of Mechanical Estimator/Project Manager. Impact Energy Services offers competitive compensation, benefits and career advancement opportunities in a growing and expanding company.
This position will report directly to the General Manager, and will primarily be responsible to ensure that applicable project management practices are followed throughout project lifecycles. This position will manage and monitor project resources as well as provide leadership for employee relations.
Qualifications:
    Ability to create realistic schedules to support the timely completion of construction projects
    Demonstrated ability to exercise necessary cost control measures
    Demonstrated project management skills (PMP designation would be preferred but not necessary)
    Demonstrated project management and estimating skills in commercial and light industrial projects
    Proven experience with resource management
    Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
    Strong formal and informal leadership skills
    Minimum 3 years experience in an Estimator/Project Managers role
Responsibilities:
    Prepare and present proposals
    Ensure that applicable project management practices are followed throughout project lifecycles
    Manage and monitor project resources
    Monitor job progress and costs, and provide regular progress reports to management
    Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development
    Determine staffing requirements and oversee the hiring of staff
    Plan the department's workload and flow
    Ensure all employees are performing duties in compliance with company policies and standards
    Perform estimates and budget development for projects
    Handle employee complaints and incidents
