Southeast College is currently recruiting for two part-time enthusiastic and knowledgeable Journeyperson Hairstylists to join the College faculty.
Instructing from the state-of-the-art Weyburn Teach n' Trim salon, the ideal candidates will bring the following qualifications:
1. Grade 12 or equivalent
2. Journeyperson Hairstylist or Cosmetologist in Saskatchewan or Red Seal
3. 2 years recent/relevant post Journeyperson experience
4. Effective Communication Skills (written & oral)
5. Effective interpersonal skills
6. Demonstrates valuing diversity
7. Adult instruction experience is an asset
8. Experience owning or managing a salon would be an asset
8. Some overnight travel for orientation classes will be required
Contract Term
Start Date: April 3, 2017
End Date: May 5, 2018
Position #1 - Number of contract days over the contract term: 167
Position #2 - Number of contract days over the contract term: 114
Instructional salary is based on the current SGEU instructional grid and commensurates with education and experience.
