Description

Northern Blizzard Resources Inc. is a publicly traded Canadian company based in Calgary, Alberta. Northern Blizzard was founded in late 2009 and is engaged in the exploration for and the acquisition, development and production of petroleum and natural gas reserves in western Canada.

We are currently seeking to fill the position of Inventory Yard Coordinator at our Macklin, SK office.  This position will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring inventory assets held at the Macklin storage yard are managed in a timely manner through the analysis of usage rates and cost efficiencies.  Key responsibilities will include;

Organizing and coordinating services within the Macklin cold storage and yard
Organizing and coordinating specific equipment for Production Operations department based on minimum and maximum requirements
Ensuring all material transfers are completed within the areas of responsibility of the inventory yard and vendor bins
Assisting the Inventory Analyst with validation of active and inactive inventory levels by FOA
Providing monthly inventory status reports regarding items within inventory bin to the Procurement & Inventory Manager
Contacting salvage vendors for equipment deemed unusable (economic or use-ability standpoint)

Besides being both an independent self starter and a team player, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the oil & gas industry
Strong background in production operations and oilfield equipment
Experience operating forklifts, bobcats and tractors
Ability to work a rotating schedule with on call rotation
Excellent organizational and communication skills
A clean drivers abstract
