Season 1 Farm Worker
Groshong Farms
$20/hr; can be negotiated, depending on experience
Temporary/Seasonal: April 15 September 30; Full-Time
Looking for a seasonal farm hand to assist in general farm operations:
Operating farm machinery (tractors, air drill, combine, swather, grain trucks, grain cart, augers, grain vac)
Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements and machinery
Responsible and must be able to work unsupervised
Valid drivers license is a requirement. Additional compensation available for those possessing a Class 1A drivers license.
Farm experience, operation of large farm machinery and mechanically inclined is an asset.
When not operating machinery, maintenance around the farm yards is ongoing.
Extended hours during seeding and harvest is expected and required. Flexibility can be given in non-seeding/harvest times.
