Country Manager
As a country manager your main objective is to drive and implement company strategy in Canada combining commercial development, operations and financial management.
Main tasks:
Business: Build and maintain effective local relationships with key decision makers and authorities. Collaborate to comprehensive business plan and market intelligence. Ensure sales & marketing development in both oilfield service & Equipment. Drive sales team and active participation in negotiating major contracts.
Finance: Ensure profitability of operations. Propose and control budget and investments. With the finance controller analyze financials, ensure AR tracking, validate cash transactions, and attend financial audits.
Operations: Supervise service center managers and monitor major contracts to deliver proper service and support to clients.
Legal: Ensure activity is in accordance with local regulations and group compliance policy. Control proper administration
Human Resources: Manage staff, supervise all HR processes, ensure proper implementation of local and group HR policies
QHSE: ensure proper implementation of local and Group Health, Safety and Environment regulations
Excellent Team management & communication skills, customer satisfaction oriented, Pragmatic.
Education and experience
15+ years with minimum of 5 years in a similar management position as a General Manager or BU Manager
Petroleum/technical/industrial background combined with minimum Bachelor degree or sound understanding of Business Administration / Finance
Travels: limited (15%), only in Western Canada
