Description

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Information Services Coordinator and the supervision of the Virtual Reference Librarian, is responsible for providing information services.

Duties:
Utilizes library and community resources to locate and provide information requested by users, performing complex bibliographic searching and research work as required.
Instructs and advises library users in the effective use of library resources, including electronic resources.
Provides collection support as required by the Collections Librarian.
Performs operational tasks such as preparing displays, collecting statistics, etc.
Assists with projects related to the collection, programming, readers advisory, educational, and outreach aspects of Information Services, as required.
Responsible for supplies and collecting money for printing and photocopying.
Other related duties as required.
